PUZZLE PIECES MARKETING

INTERNSHIPS PROGRAM

We believe that internships are all about learning, growing, and discovering.

Marketing internships at Puzzle Pieces Marketing are designed to offer our interns engaging work and hands-on learning experiences.  We provide maximum exposure to the day-to-day business of a full-service marketing and public relations agency.

As an intern, you can expect to be challenged and encouraged to step out of your comfort zone while working on real projects for real clients. We don’t expect you to know everything or come to us with a lot of experience. We want to encourage our interns to feel comfortable asking questions to get the most out of their marketing internships.

Ciara
My name is Ciara. I am 21 years old and I am a senior at Cal State San Marcos. I will be graduating in May 2020 with a degree in Communications. I am currently the Vice President of Philanthropy for my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. In the past 6 months, my sorority has raised over $12,500 for the Center for Community Solutions. I am also a dance teacher at Stage Door Dance Studio in Encinitas and teach kids jazz, hip hop, ballet, and tap. I also have been on the Cal State San Marcos dance team for the past 3 years and have competed nationally. One thing I love to do in my free time is going to music festivals and travel!

Hello, My name is Chelsea. I am Puzzle Piece’s Summer Intern! I have a passion for all things business and marketing and look forward to working with the Puzzle team.
I’m a firm believer that you’re never done learning in this life. From photography to knitting, I love to experiment with different ways to express my creativity. One hobby that I’d like to learn is pottery! I’m also an avid film and television enthusiast. You can catch me streaming on any platform almost anywhere! Gotta love our multi-screen world!

D.J.
I was born and raised in Ramona, CA. I feel like I got the best of both worlds with the small town feel of Ramona where everybody knows everybody kind of feel, with the city of San Diego being less than an hour away. I enjoy hiking, fishing and pretty much any outdoor activity. Also, I’m very much a “social butterfly” in that I love spending time with friends and family, and love meeting new people and making new contacts. My favorite thing in life right now is being and uncle and spending time with my two nieces and nephew. I am excited about being a part of the Puzzle Pieces team, and my goal is to get into the PR or fundraising management field. I can’t wait to learn the skills through Puzzle Pieces that I will need to have a positive impact on my community.

I was an intern at Puzzle Pieces Marketing and it has made a huge impact on me as I think about my future career. They had a very welcoming office environment where I was excited to go to work each day. I learned so much from them and I am proud to say that I helped rebrand such a down-to-earth and giving company. I would love to work with them again.

Angel and Kristine are some of the most amazing and inspirational people I have ever met. I was their intern the spring of my senior year of college, and not only did they give me more opportunities than I could even dream of, but they supported and pushed me in everything I did. Puzzle Pieces Marketing has had a huge impact in my life, it has helped me to see exactly what I want in my career and I could not have asked for a better internship environment!
Rachel Ford

I have nothing but good things to say about the amazing team at Puzzle Pieces Marketing. From the first day of my internship, Angel took me under her wing and made marketing fun. If I ever had a question or did not know how to do something, she had no problem helping me out. I gained experience in a variety of different tasks ranging from blog posts to attending PR events. Angel wants all of her interns to succeed and she shows it every day.
